Chris Norman
Managing Director

Starting his professional life as an electrician, Chris began ISTL as a sole trader in 1995 by sub-contracting to larger Electrical companies in the local market. Building up contacts, a solid reputation and looking after his workforce Chris was able to grow ISTL into a design and build company -firstly for Electrical installations and later creating a Mechanical department before diversifying into the full spectrum of building services.

Chris's role is to win contracts for the company and interface with the client, especially early in contract proceedings, allowing a firm foundation on both a business and personal level so that each contract runs as smoothly as possible. As MD he is then able to step back from a contract once it is underway and leave the day-to-day management to his team whilst he concentrates on future work.










Peter McGorrigan
Mechanical Engineer

Soon after joining the company in 2007 Peter McGorrigan began to employ his technical knowledge and accuracy to facilitate and enable the successful design, installation and commissioning of large scale machanical systems. An ex University Lecturer Peter is well known and respected in the industry and has an infectious passion for his chosen field.

Peter's project involvement begins at design and ends in commisssioning, allowing a full and comprehensive mechanical installation.








Liam Norman
Financial Manager

Since joining the company on a full-time basis is 2004 Liam has taken resposibility of all non-productive aspects of ISTL. Managing client, supplier and sub-contract accounts whilst overseeing the administrative department. He is also undertaking a Bsc in Quantity Surveying, using many of the skills he has learnt in his studies to manage financial and contractual aspects of the business.

Liam's project involvement is limited to procurement, payment and contractual matters.








Craig Mundy
Customer Care Manager

Craig’s dedication to customer care has allowed ISTL to cement a reputation as the premier provider of after sales service in the local construction industry. The ISTL customer care department has impressed contractors and building management companies alike; so much so that on many projects maintenance contracts have been secured after the cessation of the DLP, and even awarded for projects that were undertaken by other M&E companies.

Craig's project involvement is limited to after sales service.









Robert Hartshorne
Accounts Manager

Robert’s accuracy has allowed him to take under his control the data entry and processing at ISTL. Traditionally concerned with the receipt, logging and organisation of invoices, bills, statements and processing them according to ISTL procedures; he has more recently taken responsibility of all drawings and tender documents, interfacing with our client’s document control departments via web-based programmes.

Robert's project involvement begins at tender stage and ends with the production of O&M manuals.
